British University Sports Association (BUSA) Championships - 23rd February 2005

Michelle did Luton Higashi proud again when she won her third medal in her third consecutive competition!

This time it was for the BUSA's which is the equivalent to the Olympics for British Universities. This year it took place in Wolverhampton. Michelle took on every university in the country and, representing Loughborough, scored a silver in the ladies white- to purple-belt kata.

Loughborough went on to come 3rd overall thanks to Michelle's contribution.

Well done Michelle!

Note - the more observant amongst you will see that Michelle isn't holding the actual medal she won. This is because she forgot to bring it in for the photograph. And her karate suit. Maybe they hit her a little hard in the head up there!
