Luton Higashi Student of the Year Awards - December 2008
It is again time to publicly recognise the students who had put the most into the club and who had got the most out of it. This quarter's winners were:
Junior Student of the Year - Hayley Blagg
Hayley has been training with the Lunatics for a number of years and her spirit and determination are always improving. 2008 was a good year for her as she was not only awarded her purple belt bust also won two medals in her first competition. Keep it up Hayley!
Senior Student of the Year - Karen Tomkins
The Lunatics' really appreciate all the hard work Karen has put into the club this year. As club secretary she looks after the smooth running of the club as well as organising our appearances at various fairs and fetes.
Added to all this, she performed admirably in her last grading to be promoted to brown belt.
