This grading was carried over two sessions. In the first session, the lower grades were graded and in the second session it was the higher grades' turn. Everyone passed and performances of note were as follows:

Hayley Blagg – Hayley impressed the judges in her 3 hour grading to be awarded a 1 st class pass!

Ro Stripe – Ro showed amazing spirit throughout her 2.5 hour grading and showed absolutely no sign of flagging at all. Together with fantastic techniques, she was also awarded a 1 st class pass.

Marc “Afghan” Lee-Smith – This was Marc's last lesson with us as he is moving away, so we made sure he remembered the Luton Lunatics. He has come on leaps and bounds in the last few months and was showing the promise of becoming an excellent karate-ka. He was subjected to a very tough grading and was duly awarded a well-deserved 1st class pass.
