Grading 7th December 2003

Judging Panel: John Hurley (3rd Dan), Chris Baxter (1st Dan), Alex Buxton (1st Dan)

Congratulations to the following students on their promotions:

New red belts in height order - Danielle, Coral, Nadia, Zoheb, Laura, Enrico and Brian

New Orange belts thinking they look like a boyband - Rob (the hard one), Ernesto (the exotic one) and Glen (the sensitive one)

2nd Kyu Brownbelt - congratulations Sam!

This proved to be a very large grading for the Luton club. It started at 10am with the white belts taking their turn to grade and in the afternoon, the higher grades were put through their paces.

All in all, there were very good performances throughout the day and everyone passed.

Little and Large - new yellow belts - Rob and Zahra

A special mention needs to go to Zahra Majeed who impressed the judges so much with her basics that she gained herself a double grading, taking herself straight to yellow belt. Well done Zahra!

Rob Wright (pictured below) did well to be assessed straight across to orange belt. Formerly a tang so doo student, he put his martial arts knowledge into practice and impressed the judges
