Alex took his 2nd Dan grading at the September 2005 Kata Course run by Chief Instructor Peter Spanton at Forest Gate.

Alex was honoured to be joined by two distinguished candidates. Collin is the reigning World Champion in sparring and Melissa is a member of the national kumite squad. No presure!

Alex prepared for his grading by training at Sensei Peter Spanton's club for five months so that he could get trained by the 8th Dan in person.

Most of the Luton club were present to give Alex moral support and to cheer him on.
