It was another great day for the Luton Lunatics as two of our higher grades went for their promotions at Forest Gate, being judged by a panel led by Peter Spanton, 8th Dan.

Both Luton candidates, Ayushi and James, put a huge amount of effort into their preparations and both of them shone on the day.

Ayushi has been the reigning WKC world under-16 kata champion for the last two years, so it was fitting for her to be awarded her black belt

James, having hardly missed a lesson for years as well as taking a very active role in teaching at Luton, showed that his knowledge and ability was spot on as he was awarded a first class pass!

Congratulations to Ayushi and James!
