This was an especially tough grading as the students had to not only prove themselves in the traditionally tough grading, but they also had to contend with the freezing temperate in the dojo as it snowed outside.

Ten hopefuls grading and all passed, some with exceptional results. Special mentions go to:

Nadia Majeed – Nadia is now one step closer to her black belt with a very impressive grading showing that she has what she takes. She was unanimously voted a first class pass by the whole judging panel.

Aleena Majeed – Another Majeed girl to have her brown belt promoted today, Aleena has recently put a lot of work into her karate and it shows!

Enrico Maure – Enrico was due to take this grading almost a year ago but was unable to grade previously due to injuries. Again, he has shown his determination and was duly awarded a second class pass.

Karen Tomkins – Karen has been flying up the grades. Her innate stretchiness and obsession with karate certainly seem to be helping her as she put in another excellent performance to be awarded a first class pass.

Stephanie Meale – Stephanie impressed the judges with her drive and determination. Normal lessons aren't enough for Stephanie who also demands private lessons! They paid off with another first class pass.
