2nd Kyu

I started training with Luton Higashi, in November 2009, having spent a few years watching my daughter achieve many things at the club. I enjoy both the mental and physical challenges that karate bring through the twice weekly training sessions, the grading system and the competitions that the club regularly enters. Luton Higashi is a very well run club and people of all ages and abilities are made very welcome.

This last twelve months have been a ‘whirlwind' of activity for me, I attended my first Ogwen training camp, took part in the HKK National Championships and graded 4 times – culminating in a 1st class pass at 3rd kyu (brown belt).

Away from the club I practice at home and go to the gym to maintain my fitness.
